We wrote abut Smokey when she recently lost her owner after he passed away. She is only 4 years old and still had much to offer another family.
We are very happy to say that Smokey now has a new home and is very happy - you can tell by the look on her face!

Our Feral Cats Need Your Help! |
The property that many of our feral cats call home has just been sold, and we need to find somewhere to move them. If you have a property large enough to relocate these cats, please contact Stephanie right away at 250-754-7081 or walkersanimalrescue@shaw.ca.

We also need donations of food and kitty litter so we can continue to assist these abandoned and wild cats to survive the winter. The A.R.C. is still seeking a property that we can use as a permanent shelter. If you know of any property in the central Vancouver Island area that may suit this purpose, please contact the shelter at 250-754-7081. |
At this time and all through the year we need continued financial assistance.With all the animals in our care we need regular food and supplies.All donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at any Nanaimo Shar-Kare Feeds & Pet Supplies stores. All donations are tax deductible.
