Mygal is a sweet natured Pitbull x that came to us last year. He was skinny, timid and not really sure of himself. I really worry when we get Pitbulls in just because they are so hard to place and they can be quite a handful if not handled properly.

I am a believer that the animal behavior reflects on the elements that they live in and are subjected to. If they are given lots of love then they will blossom it back to their family and friends. If treated badly then they will show aggressive behaviour and be unpredictable. Once again we were very lucky and found a very loving retired fellow that lives in Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island who was looking for a companion. Mygal also got very lucky as his new owner has all the time in the world to spend with him. Mygal goes everywhere with his new owner, George, and we have had a few follow-up phone calls where George is so pleased and can't believe what a match they are together and what a great dog he is. Walker's is so happy - thank you George for opening your home and heart to this little guy and giving him a great new life.
Our wish for 2008 New Year would be that every one of our animals finds a home just like Mygal did.
